What is Mediation?

Mediation is a form of alternative dispute resolution in which the parties to a lawsuit meet with a neutral third-party, known as the mediator, in an effort to reach a settlement. It can be an informal meeting among the parties or a scheduled settlement conference.

The dispute may either be pending in a court or potentially be a dispute which may be filed in court. Mediation can help to avoid the time and expense of further litigation by settling a lawsuit early on in the process.

Our legal team includes a certified civil mediator, who is trained in a variety of negotiations.
